Our standard lockers are resistant to low levels of moisture, however, for extreme environments, we use different materials so that our lockers last for years.

During the entire period, our fitout for the Goodlife Health Club in Melbourne’s Glen Iris was installed, the gym maintained normal opening hours, so keen members didn’t have to miss a session!
About waterproof lockers
All of our lockers are resistant to moisture. Depending on the level of waterproofing required our lockers can be manufactured with different materials with different ratings.
For changerooms that are exposed to steam infrequently, for example in end-of-trip facilities or sporting clubs, our standard materials of Moisture Resistant (MR) Laminate and Particleboard will do the job. For aquatic centers, saunas or outdoor lockers we change our material selection to Compact Laminate, Versaboard and Plastic Design Board.
Yes, we have a range of water-resistant locks that are suited to a variety of different IP ratings. An IP (Ingress Protection) rating is used to specify the extent of protection an electrical enclosure has against environmental conditions such as water and dust.
For example, an IP65 rated lock is dust-tight and protected against jets of water. These types of locks are perfect for areas that have occasional water or humidity. For outdoor or constant exposure to water the best locks are IP68 rated. IP68 locks are also dust-tight and can be submerged in water under pressure for long periods.
