Clean, green and ‘minimalist cool’. That’s the best way to describe the fitout at Toyota’s offices at Altona North. The automotive giant was amalgamating all their administration offices into their building in Grieve Parade and wanted a functional storage facility for their many staff members.
A total of 306 H3 lockers were installed with a custom routed and painted mail slot. The lockers were finished in a stunning Laminex Flint White material with custom vinyl numbering and fitted with a Gantner Smart lock. Custom open shelf storage was located at the base of each locker bank. A unique feature of the installation are the living planters located at the top of each bank, adding a natural, green feel to the facility. The planter containers were specially constructed of waterproofed material to protect the lockers over time.
